Pookalam Bloom is inspired by the flower carpets that welcome King Mahabali home every Onam. Handwoven in pure linen and finished with delicate hand-embroidered flowers and a dragonfly in French knot work, a nod to the traditional Thumbi Thullal dance. Each bloom is embroidered stitch by stitch, by hand. The soft cream linen base lets the pastel pink, mauve and ivory florals stand out, paired with a shimmering gold zari border for that festive finish.
